Program Profile:
The education period of the program is 2 years and it is continued theoretically and practically. Courses in the 1st and 2nd semesters of the education process; It consists of general courses such as Turkish Language, Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution, Foreign Language, Mathematics, and basic courses such as Technical Drawing, Material Technology, Machine Elements, Basic Manufacturing Operations and Strength. In the 3rd and 4th semesters, certain courses such as CNC Technology, Manufacturing Processes, Computer Aided Drawing, Hydraulic Pneumatics, Occupational Safety, Welding Technology are taught.
Employment Profiles of Graduates (with Examples):
According to the results of the "Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS)", the graduates of the Machinery Program can find a job in the "Machinery Technician" staff of public institutions as well as find the opportunity to participate in employment in companies operating in a wide variety of manufacturing sectors. They can find jobs as drawing technicians in engineering design offices or as mechanical installation staff in construction companies. If they wish, they can open their own manufacturing workshop or drawing office. If desired, they can complete their undergraduate education with DGS or AÖF.
Vertical Transfer Undergraduate Programs:
Graduates of the program pass the Centrally held Vertical Transfer Exam (ÖSYM-DGS) in "Mechanical Engineering", "Production Engineering", "Naval Architecture and Ship Machinery Engineering", "Naval Machinery Management Engineering", "Materials Science and Engineering", "Metallurgy and Engineering They can continue their undergraduate programs such as "Materials Engineering", "Automotive Engineering", "Machining Teaching", "Metal Teaching", "Machine Drawing and Construction Teaching", "Automotive Teaching", "Agricultural Machinery" or, without examination, at Anadolu University, Open Education Faculty " They can complete their undergraduate education in “Business” and “Economics” programs.
Exams, Assessment and Evaluation:
Examinations and assessment and evaluation of these exams are carried out in accordance with the Iğdır University Associate Degree-Bachelor's Degree Education and Examination Regulations.
Graduation Requirements:
The education period of the program is 2 years (4 semesters) and the language of education is Turkish. Students who fulfill the conditions specified in the Iğdır University Associate-Bachelor's Education-Teaching and Examination Regulations and successfully complete 112 ECTS courses and 30 working days of internship (8 ECTS) are entitled to graduate.

Department Facilities:
The program is a department that has been providing education since the 2008-2009 academic year. Our university has academic staff who have proven their scientific proficiency in the aforementioned departments. A 100 square meter laboratory with machine tools such as Lathe, Milling, Drill, Grinding and Leveling and a wide variety of manufacturing and measuring tools is at the service of the program students.
