Students of the Department of Construction are awarded with an associate's degree upon successful completion of their courses and meeting the other requirements.
Special Admission Requirements
For admission to higher education, students have to take the nationwide Higher Education Entrance Examination (YGS) or apply for the non-examination entrance examination. The Higher Education Entrance Examination (YGS) is held once a year by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Students are placed in the departments of Higher Education institutions according to the scores obtained from the Higher Education Entrance Examination (YGS) and their high school grade point averages.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Students enrolled in higher education institutions have the right to demand recognition of their previous studies at different universities. New students must submit their own transcripts and course contents to the relevant department within the first week of the registration year in order to recognize their studies.
